The Plainwell Community School district complies with applicable federal and state laws prohibiting discrimination, including Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. It is the policy of the school district that no person on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability status, genetic information & testing, Family & Medical Leave, sexual orientation and gender identity or expression, or veteran status shall be discriminated against in employment or educational programs and activities. In order to coordinate compliance activities and investigate complaints charging discrimination, the school district has appointed Superintendent Matthew Montange as Civil Rights Coordinator.
