An Update From Superintendent Montange

PCS Logo - Montange Letter

Good Afternoon PCS Parents & Guardians,

I want to update you on our efforts to re-open our facilities and what will be required from families who wish to have their child participate.  Attached you will find the documents that explain the guidelines as provided by the MHSAA in partnership with MDE and the State of Michigan.  Essentially, we will be screening participants prior to an activity and requiring social distancing throughout the activity.  If a student can not pass the screening they will not be allowed to participate.  You will be asked to sign a form that confirms you understand the expectations and requirements to participate.  In the event that a student or coach were to test positive for COVID-19, current guidelines require that the activity group exposed would not be allowed on campus for any activities for 14 days OR until the Allegan County Health Department provides clearance to resume activities.  This is subject to change based on current conditions in the county and state, we will follow their requirements and adjust as needed.  I truly wish we could keep things as normal as possible but also understand that we have to keep our families, students, and staff safe.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.  Please feel free to contact our Athletic Director Dave Price or myself directly if you have any concerns or questions.

Sincerely,

Matthew J. M. Montange
